Autism Spectrum Disorder
Your child may have difficulty with back-and-forth conversations, play, or understanding others’ feelings. We begin with a play-based evaluation that focuses on connection, communication, and social engagement, then build a plan tailored to their sensory, social, and language
Early Language Development
Your toddler isn't using as many words or gestures as expected for their age or using the correct grammar. Our evaluation includes a detailed parent interview, observation, and developmental milestone screening to create an early language plan rooted in everyday routines.
Total Communication Support
Your child benefits from combining speech, sign, visuals, or devices to communicate. We assess your child's strengths and preferences and develop an approach that blends verbal, visual, and gestural methods for successful daily communication. We also provide modeling to improve skills, as well as family support to implement total communication strategies in the community.
Support for Hearing Impaired Children
Your child has hearing loss and needs language access through speech, sign, or both. We work with your child’s audiologist and family to provide bilingual (spoken/sign) communication support that fits your goals.
Sign Language Integration/ Instruction
Your child is learning or already using signs as part of their daily communication. We provide sign-based assessment and coaching, using signs during play, songs, and routines to increase vocabulary and engagement. We also provided sign language classes to improve skills for the entire family.
Social/Pragmatic Language Skills
Your child struggles with things like taking turns, staying on topic, or reading social cues. We assess your child’s strengths and challenges in real-life situations and create playful, structured activities that build confidence and social understanding.
Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
Your child may be nonverbal or minimally verbal and needs support using a speech device or picture system. Our evaluation includes AAC trials, observation, and caregiver input to match your child with a communication system that meets their needs.
Functional Communication Coaching
Your child has big feelings and sensory needs but struggles to express needs clearly at home or in the community. We start with observation and input from caregivers to identify barriers and teach simple, effective communication strategies that reduce frustration and build independence.
